NCRTની આ પુસ્તકો ખાસ વાંચો
જો તમે UPSC પ્રિલીમ્સ પરીક્ષાની તૈયારી કરી રહ્યાં છો, તો NCRTની પુસ્તકોમાંથી તૈયારી કરવાની સલાહ આપવામાં આવે છે. પરીક્ષાર્થીએ NCRTની ધોરણ 9થી 12ના પુસ્તકો વાંચવા જોઈએ.
ધોરણ 9ના પુસ્તકો - સામાજિક વિજ્ઞાન માટે NCRTની લોકશાહી રાજનીતિ, સમકાલીન ભારત ભાગ 1, અર્થશાસ્ત્ર ભારત અને સમકાલિક વિકાસ ભાગ 1.
ધોરણ 10 ના પુસ્તકો - સામાજિક વિજ્ઞાન માટે ભારત અને સમકાલીન વિકાસ ભાગ-2 , આર્થિક વિકાસની સમજ, સમકાલીન ભારત, લોકશાહી રાજનીતિ.
ધોરણ 11 ના પુસ્તકો- અર્થશાસ્ત્ર (ભારતીય અર્થતંત્રનો વિકાસ), ભૂગોળ (ભારતીય ભૌતિક પર્યાવરણ, ભૂગોળમાં પ્રાયોગિક કાર્ય, ભૌતિક ભૂગોળના મૂળ સિદ્ધાંતો), વિશ્વ ઇતિહાસ (વિશ્વ ઇતિહાસના કેટલાક વિષયો), રાજનીતિ વિજ્ઞાન (ભારતનું બંધારણ, સિદ્ધાંતો અને વર્તન, રાજકીય સિદ્ધાંત), સમાજશાસ્ત્ર (સમાજશાસ્ત્ર ભાગ-1, સમાજની સમજ).

આજના ટેક્નોલોજી અને સોશિયલ મીડિયાના યુગમાં નાના- મોટા સૌ કોઈ વાંચનથી વિમુખ થઈ ગયા છે. ભાવિ પેઢી પોતાના અભ્યાસકાળ દરમિયાન અને એ સિવાયના લોકો વાંચન તરફ વળે તે માટે રાજકોટમાં સાહિત્ય સેતુ 2 ઓકટોબરથી પુસ્તક પરબ શરૂ કરશે. જેમાં રાજકોટના ઉદ્યોગપતિ, શિક્ષકો, આચાર્યએ એક હજારથી વધુ પુસ્તકનું અનુદાન આપ્યું છે. આ પુસ્તક રાજકોટ શહેરના લોકોને વિનામૂલ્યે વાંચવા માટે અપાશે. જે પુસ્તકો ભેગા થયા છે. તેમાં શૌર્યગાથા, વીરગાથા, નવલકથા, ધાર્મિક, સાહિત્ય- સંસ્કૃતિ વગેરે પુસ્તકોનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
સાહિત્ય સેતુ સંસ્થાના સંયોજક મુકેશભાઈ દોશીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, 2 ઓકટોબરથી પુસ્તક પરબ દર મહિનાના પહેલા રવિવારે સવારે 9થી 12 ત્રણ કલાક માટે પ્રારંભિક તબકકામાં શરૂ કરાશે અને ત્યારબાદ ધીમે- ધીમે તેની મુદત વધારાશે. આ પુસ્તક પરબમાં કોઈપણ પાસે એક રૂપિયાની ફી લેવામાં નહીં આવે. પુસ્તક પરબમાં કોઈપણ વાંચનપ્રેમી આવે તે પોતાનું મનગમતું પુસ્તક લઈ જાય અને પછીના મહિનામાં રવિવારે આવે ત્યારે પુસ્તક પરત લેતા આવે અને ફરી નવું પુસ્તક લઈ જાય એવી વ્યવસ્થા રહેશે.
પુસ્તક કલેક્શન માટે ખાસ ટીમની રચના
2 ઓકટબોરથી શરૂ થતા પુસ્તક પરબ માટે હાલમાં પુસ્તક કલેક્શનનું કાર્ય ચાલુ છે. આ માટે એક ખાસ ટીમની રચના કરવામાં આવી છે. આ ટીમ દરેક જગ્યાએથી પુસ્તક એકત્રિતકરણ કરે છે. આ ટીમ દરેક લોકોના ઘરે- ઘરે જઈને પુસ્તક કલેકટ કરીને પુસ્તક બેંકમાં આપશે.
ગ્રંથયાત્રા બાદ હવે પુસ્તક પરબ
લોકો વાંચન તરફ વળે તે માટે સાહિત્ય સેતુ સંસ્થા છેલ્લા બે વર્ષ અભિયાન ચલાવે છે. બે વર્ષ પહેલા ગ્રંથયાત્રા યોજવામાં આવી હતી. જેમાં અલગ- અલગ મોટા વાહનમાં ટેબલ પર પુસ્તક રાખીને આ યાત્રા આખા શહેરમાં યોજાઈ હતી. જેમાં પણ મોટી સંખ્યામાં લોકો જોડાયા હતા. હવે પુસ્તક પરબ શરૂ કરાશે. જેનો પ્રાંરભ 2 ઓકટોબરથી થશે. દર રવિવારે કોટેચા ગર્લ્સ હાઈસ્કૂલમાં પુસ્તક પરબ યોજાશે.
