The Danville Jazz Band is a curricular ensemble open to all 7-12 band students at Danville High School.  This group of dedicated and hard-working students rehearse every day to prepare for multiple performances throughout each school year.  The jazz band is the featured performer for Danville's annual Raccoon Dinner.

These students have the opportunity to learn about jazz-style music and develop themselves as more well-rounded musicians.  They are challenged to improvise, learn difficult music, learn basic jazz theory, and learn to identify different jazz styles.
