The Danville Marching Band, known as the "Blue Devil Band", is comprised of all 7-12th grade band students enrolled at the Danville Local School District.
The Blue Devil Band is a show-style marching band that incorporates exciting music, precise drill, dancing, and multiple drum cadences into an energizing and exciting experience for the students and audience members alike. The tradition of the Blue Devil Band is a staple in the Danville community and is an opportunity for every student at the Danville Local Schools to experience musicianship, community, leadership development, and discipline.
Being a member of the Blue Devil Band is an experience unlike any other. With a strong emphasis on student leadership, the band experiences teamwork, a sense of community, and a bond that can only come from a desire to perform and improve while honoring the deep-rooted traditions of our band.
The Blue Devil Band is very active in our community and region where we perform many times throughout each year. The band performs at every Danville football game, multiple basketball games, many community parades and events, band festivals, and travels to Cedar Point for a parade each August. The Blue Devil Band also travels across the country for special performance and sightseeing opportunities.

Once the regular season of football ends, the Junior High and High School Bands transition into "Concert Season". Since we believe in a high standard of musical excellence, both groups will play challenging music geared towards improving overall musicianship and technical ability on their instruments. Both bands will give multiple concerts and perform at various school assemblies. Many students travel to Solo & Ensemble Contest and are selected for District Honors Band each year.
