Street Percussion

Street Percussion is an exploratory class offered in 7th grade as a general music offering. In this course, students will compose, improvise, arrange, read, and perform music using a variety of "found object" instruments, such as cans, cups, and bucket drums!

The class culminates in a "SHOWCASE" for teachers and families during the school day, where students perform prepared repertoire as well as student-created songs and ensemble pieces.
