Concert Dress
Looking like a TEAM is an important part of performing in a middle school music ensemble! In order to look like a team, we wear a uniform that is POLISHED and PROFESSIONAL for all concert performances.
It is important to obtain these items SOON so that no one is scrambling the day of the concert, and to make sure that they FIT and are READY TO GO the night of the performance.
SEE THE CONCERT UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS, ORDER FORMS, and SAMPLE PHOTOS below. There is financial assistance available if your family circumstances mean you are unable to obtain the required items; please contact the director at least 4 weeks before a performance to inquire about assistance.

CONCERT DRESS
All students will require:
- An HRMS Music Department Polo Shirt (Royal Blue or White - new for 2018!))
- Shirts will be ordered in the fall, costing approximately $12 per shirt.
- Shirts are available in youth and adult sizes. Order up a size if your student is between sizes!
- Adult Shirts run slightly large; Youth Shirts run quite small.
- If you would prefer, you may purchase your student their own WHITE, COLLARED POLO SHIRT. No other style of shirt will fit concert dress requirements.
- BLACK or KHAKI dress pants
- Jeans, athletic pants, and yoga pants/leggings are not part of a professional look for concerts.
- Students may wear a knee-length skirt with black tights or leggings,if they choose.
- BLACK or BROWN dress shoes
- Athletic sneakers, colored shoes, converse, slippers and flip flops are not part of a professional look for concerts.
- Students should avoid using perfume or cologne, which can aggravate allergies and sensitivities and interfere with breathing.
