Key dates

Save these important dates for your diary to support the transition process to Primary School.

17.06.26 - Welcome meeting 2:00pm

A chance to get lots of information and meet some of the staff. Second hand and new uniform will be available to buy. It's not very exciting for children so if you can leave them with someone that would be good, but we understand that's not always possible.

29.06.26 and 03.07.26 - Home visits available for Reception

We will come and meet you at home, which gives your child a chance to show us their favourite things.

09.07.26 - Stay and play: 9:15-10:15 and 10:30-11:30

You will be able to visit the reception classroom with your child and get to know the staff and classroom. Further details of your time slot will be given at the welcome meeting.

03.09.26 - Play session

This is just for the children and will last about an hour and a half. You'll be given a time at the Welcome meeting.

04.09.26 - First day!

The children will have staggered starts so we can give them an individual welcome. They will go home at 11:45.

07.09.26 - First lunch!

All the children will arrive between 8:35 and 8:45. They will stay for lunch, and go home at 13:00.

08.09.26 - First full day!

From today the children will have full days, and be picked up a 3:15.
