Throughout students’ time at CDS, they gradually have more independence regarding their education. This allows students the opportunity to take some initiative in determining what they want to focus on regarding academics and co-curricular activities. Through Lab, First Program students are introduced to the choosing of co-curricular activities based on individual interests. We are now using Schoolsbuddy to sign up for labs. Please visit the link here to sign in. Each class runs from 3:10-3:40pm. All First Program students will choose one Lab on Tue, and another on Thur. This will be done using Schoolsbuddy during the school day.
The array of what is offered in Lab is broad and differs in each of the four quarters, e.g. musical, artistic or physical activity classes; Chinese, Spanish, horseback riding, swimming, FP TV, Yearbook Club; and several more interesting possibilities.
학생들은 CDS에 있는 동안 점차 교육에 대한 독립성을 갖게 됩니다. 이를 통해 학생들은 학업 및 교과외 활동과 관련하여 집중하고 싶은 것이 무엇인지 결정하는 데 주도권을 가질 수 있는 기회를 얻을 수 있습니다. Lab을 통해 First Program 학생들은 개인의 관심 사항에 따라 교과 병행 활동을 선택할 수 있습니다. 이제 Schoolsbuddy를 사용하여 실습에 등록하고 있습니다. 로그인하려면 여기 링크를 방문하세요. 각 수업은 오후 3시 10분부터 3시 40분까지 진행됩니다. 모든 First Program 학생들은 화요일에 하나의 Lab을 선택하고, 목요일에 다른 하나를 선택하게 됩니다. 이 작업은 수업 시간 동안 Schoolsbuddy를 사용하여 수행됩니다.
랩수업은 뮤지컬, 미술, Sports, 중국어, 스페인어, 승마, 수영, FP TV 이어북 클럽등 다양한 분야에 걸쳐 흥미로운 활동들을 Quarter 마다 선택해서 할 수 있도록 하고 있습니다.

The lab choices are available to view at the bottom of this page. Registration will occur in the classroom. The information will be shared with students in class as well as with students and parents using Schoolsbuddy. Please note that there are four seasons of Labs
Quarter 1 -- Aug 18 - Oct 29
Quarter 2 -- Oct 30 - Jan 23
Quarter 3 -- Jan 26 - Apr 14
Quarter 4 -- April 15 - June 19
Student sign ups are approximately 2 school weeks before the quarter (except for Quarter 1).
Student lists of registered ASPs are shared approximately 1 week before the quarter.
Lab Results will be communicated to students both in class and on Schoolsbuddy. Parents can view the results on Schoolsbuddy.
