Sectionals are MANDATORY for all choir students. Each singer will be assigned a Sectional Group (A-M) and attend a weekly lesson. The assigned lesson times rotate every week. Sectionals include lessons that focus on vocal technique, harmony, music literacy, choral balance, intonation, storytelling, and community. 

REMINDERS:

• Know your time. Write it down!  

• Come prepared with your folder, music, a pencil, and your Chromebook. 

• COMMUNICATE. It is YOUR responsibility to let your other teachers know when you will be missing part of their class. 

The choir program has blossomed over the past three years and we have outgrown our rehearsal space. The full mixed choir will continue to perform as one big, beautiful ensemble for all concerts, but will rehearse as two separate groups during Wildcat Period: Blue Choir and Silver Choir. The only difference between Blue Choir and Silver Choir is the rehearsal cycle days. Both groups will be mixed evenly by grades (7/8) and voice parts (SATB). Wildcat rehearsals will take place in the Choir Room (Room 100) on the risers.  These rehearsals are part of the graded course and student schedule. Attendance is essential for individual success and for the success of the entire choir.
