Hello, Sanger Families!
What an incredible first week back! It was wonderful to see our Stallions return to campus, reconnect with friends and teachers, and begin settling into their new routines. Our classrooms and hallways were filled with smiles, excitement, and lots of learning!
As we head into week 2, we look forward to continuing to build strong relationships, establish routines, and create a sense of belonging for every student. We are already so proud of the way our Stallions are showing up each day ready to learn, grow, and do their very best.
Thank you, families, for your support and partnership as we begin another wonderful year together. We are off to a great start, and there is so much to look forward to!

¡Hola, familias de Sanger!
¡Qué increíble fue nuestra primera semana de regreso! Fue maravilloso ver a nuestros Stallions regresar al campus, reencontrarse con sus amigos y maestros, y comenzar a adaptarse a sus nuevas rutinas. ¡Nuestros salones y pasillos estuvieron llenos de sonrisas, entusiasmo y mucho aprendizaje!
Al comenzar la semana 2, esperamos continuar fortaleciendo relaciones, estableciendo rutinas y creando un sentido de pertenencia para cada uno de nuestros estudiantes. Ya estamos muy orgullosos de ver cómo nuestros Stallions llegan cada día listos para aprender, crecer y dar lo mejor de sí mismos.
Gracias, familias, por su apoyo y colaboración mientras comenzamos juntos otro maravilloso año escolar. ¡Hemos tenido un excelente comienzo y tenemos mucho por delante que celebrar!

Middle School Note: There is no advisory first period. Students report to their 1st period on A-days and their 6th period on B-days.

Dismissal
There will be no parking on San Leandro in front of the campus prior to dismissal. This helps to keep the flow of traffic moving once dismissal begins. After meeting with our Sanger community with safety at the forefront, Whittiers Ave. will not be used for any kind of parking during dismissal. Thank you!
Please be mindful/respectful of the drop-off and pick-up zone for ALL grades. This keeps traffic moving and there will be staff directing our families.

Yondr pouches are off to a strong start at Sanger! Thank you to our 6th-8th grade team for ensuring rollout was successful for our middle schoolers! 📱
Construction Update
Construction is officially underway at Sanger! Our first phase includes improvements to the front offices and auditorium—no classrooms are impacted.
We're excited for the fresh new look and the addition of a secure vestibule, which will enhance safety. Arrival and dismissal plans have been carefully designed with construction in mind.
Thank you for your patience as we make these exciting improvements to our campus!
Update: We have wrapping around the construction drywall at our entrance point! It is such a refreshing welcoming look!
Helpful Reminders
Tardies will be occuring this week! Reminder that 8:00am is the start of 1st/6th period. It is essential that students are in class on time and ready to start strong!
Item drop-offs in the main office (supplies, water bottles, etc.) close at 10am.
There is no outside lunch permitted on campus (example: Chick-fil-A deliveries... as delicious as those waffle fries are .... are not allowed).
Student sign-out pick-up closes at 2:30pm.

Elementary: PK3 - 5th Grade
Tops: White or Navy blue - School logo is not required, but optional
Bottoms: Khaki and Navy blue pants, shorts, skirts and dresses allowed.
Middle School: 6th - 8th Grade
Tops: Shirt with the Sanger Logo is required - color is specific to each grade
- 6th grade: Light blue shirt w/ School logo
- 7th grade: Green w/ School logo
- 8th grade: Grey w/ School logoBottoms: Black pants or shorts and skort sold by Dallas East Sports.
All Grade levels:
Wednesdays are college shirt days - Students may wear a shirt representing a college or university with uniform bottoms.
Fridays are spirit days - Students may wear a Sanger Spirit Shirt with jeans or uniform bottoms.
Last Friday of the Month is PTA Friday: Free Dress for All - Students may wear free dress
(must be school-appropriate, no ripped jeans, tank tops, Crocs, open-toed shoes, etc.)Hoodies are allowed - but hood may not be worn or hoodie will be taken up.
