Will there be a yearbook to purchase at the end of the year?
A few people on the waitlist did not end up purchasing their book, so we have a few left. Email vklimaszewski if you still want one.
Is there any Summer Homework?
Yes, there are summer assignments Keep checking back. This will be updated as teachers forward their information.
8:30 am-11:30 am. and 1:30 pm-4:30 pm each day
At this event, you can pick up your laptop, take your yearbook photo, pay school fees, turn in medical forms, get your schedule, buy your parking passes, and get guild merchandise, just to name a few of the items you can check off your list.
7/28 - 12th - (A-O) 8:30 am-11:30 am.
12th - (P-Z) 1:30 pm-4:30 pm
7/29 - 10th - 8:30 am-11:30 am.
11th - 1:30 pm-4:30 pm

Students may attend flight school while their parents register.
Frequently Asked Questions
Pegasus Pick-up is not required, but it is the best way to get everything you need to start the school year all at one time. Everything can be done in the first week of school. Or you can pick up information after Pegasus Pick-up and before school starts by making an appointment with our office Manager, Sara Vargas, at 972-925-1203. As per DISD Guidelines, our doors are always locked. You will want to make an appointment to ensure you can find an door open when you arrive.
Flight School is not required, but it is an opportunity provided for new students to meet their peers, learn about what to expect, and feel familiar before the first day of school.

We are inviting alumni of Arts Magnet (Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts) to submit visual artwork (2D, 3D, & Photography) for consideration in a special exhibition celebrating Arts Magnet's 50th anniversary this Fall.
Join us in honoring the legacy of Arts Magnet by sharing your artwork and being part of this milestone moment!
