Extracurricular Activity Information
Please read the information below to help answer questions about the dismissal process for afterschool activities-
Clubs will begin right after dismissal- you do not need to pick up your student after school before their activity
Students will receive a snack through our cafeteria if participating in an extracurricular activity
If you pick up multiple students at regular after school dismissal, please remove the carline numbers of any students staying for a club. This helps ensure they do not get dismissed when staying for their club.
Extracurricular Dismissal-
Our extracurricular dismissal will operate like our after school dismissal- you will put your number in your dashboard and we will release your child to your car.
Please share with the club sponsor if your child will be picked up or should go to the afterschool program (if they are enrolled in the program) after their activity.
If your child is in the afterschool program, we ask that you park and do not park in the driveway from around 4:30- 5:00 pm to allow for a smooth extracurricular dismissal.
We will work quickly to release students to your cars, but appreciate your patience!
Other Reminders
Our goal is to have every student participating in one club to ensure everyone has an opportunity to be involved.
In accordance with state law SB12 that took effect on September 1, 2025, the District must receive written parental consent before a student is permitted to participate in a District- or campus-authorized or sponsored club and/or activity. Please complete the form (all students received a paper copy) and return to your child's homeroom teacher.
We will also be offering co-curricular clubs this year where all students can participate in a different club during the school day. Information will be shared in the upcoming weeks.
