Welcome to the Choral Program of Sudie TAG Academy! This year's offerings are Vocal Ensemble (7th & 8th grade) and 6th Grade Choir. Vocal Ensemble teaches show choir techniques such as singing and dancing, facial expression and singing with a microphone. Songs include pop & jazz standards, show tunes as well as rock and rap. Our goal is to perform live on and off campus as well as compete in contests.
Vocal Ensemble also is our Honor Choir. Singers study classical singing techniques, and students will be encouraged to sign up for private online voice lessons with Ms. Bell to audition for All City/All Region Choirs and compete in UIL Solo & Ensemble contest. The entire ensemble will work toward a premiere presentation at UIL Choir & Sight Reading Contest. Superior ratings in UIL contests will greatly enhance student resumes when applying to special high schools and college.
