Gold Mark Biscuits, Rani Foods Industries Ltd

Department of Nutrition & Food Engineering of Daffodil International University made an Industrial Tour to Gold Mark Biscuits, Rani Foods Industries Ltd.

As part of their course curriculum, students of the Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering of Daffodil International University made an industrial tour at Gold Mark Biscuits, Rani Foods Industries Ltd. to visit the various plants and units of the Industry located at Gazipur on 26^th November, 2018 under the guidance of Ms. Effat Ara Jahan, Lecturer, Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering in response to the invitation of the authority. The goal of the trip was to enlighten students about the modern and updated knowledge in the field of Biscuit Processing Technology. The DIU team consisted of 60 students from three (03) consecutive batches of the NFE department along with Mr. Abir Ahmed, Lecturer, NFE.

Mr. Md. Aminul Islam, Deputy General Manager, and Md. Shariful Islam, Manager, Human Resource Development, Rani Foods Industries Ltd was also present at the time of visit. The authority of the Industry has arranged a discussion session between students and higher management of the Industry. They enlightened the students with their knowledge about varieties of Biscuits and Cookies Processing. They also discussed to provide jobs and internship opportunities to our students in future.

The students gathered the practical knowledge from this visit. They were introduced with many modern machineries of making varieties of biscuits and cookies with other work labors regarding this. They also visited different areas of the industry.

National Food Safety Day 2019

We have taken the appropriate permission from the competent authority of icddr'b.
