Chris Miller is a 2003 graduate of Dade County High School who was a superlative distance runner during his high school career. He ran the 800 meters, 1600 meters, 3200 meters, and the 4x400 relay. His senior year he was a region champion in the 800 meters, 1600 meters, and the 3200 meters. He placed in state in all three events as well (8th in the 3200 meters, 4th in the 1600 meters, and 6th in the 800 meters.) He also excelled in cross country winning the region title and placing 10th in the state.
Chris will be working with our distance runners this season. His son, Tanner, is a sophomore on the team.
Coach Green's comments:
I am really excited to have Chris join us to help train our distance runners this season. He has seen success, understands how strong our region is, and will push our kids to compete with the top. Chris and his family have been a tremendous addition to the Dade County track program and we are grateful for their support.
