Hello! 

My name is Francesca Velcich and I am SO excited to begin my 2nd year as a D91 Hornet! I graduated from Illinois State University in 2020 with a Bachelors in Music Education (BME), and this will be my 3rd full-year teaching music. I am a professional singer in the Chicagoland area and am a member of the Chicago Chamber Choir. I am also a commissioned arranger of Choral Music, specializing in pieces for Treble voices. When I am not teaching or singing, I love reading different genres of books, playing card games with cousins, and traveling to new places. But the most important thing you need to know about me is that my favorite thing in the entire world is my baby: Lucky Francis Patrick Joseph Velcich. (yes, he's my dog) 

I am so excited for a new year full of singing, dancing, playing, and creating! Keep watching for everything we accomplish this year :)
