Work-Based Learning (WBL) connects students with real-world experiences by blending academic studies with hands-on work in professional settings. Through internships, apprenticeships, and job shadowing, students explore careers, develop skills, and build industry connections, all while enhancing their education and preparing for future success.
1. Career Exploration (9th-10th Grade):Students begin by exploring various career fields through classroom activities, industry visits, and guest speakers.
2. Skill Development (11th Grade): As students identify their interests, they engage in more hands-on experiences like internships or job shadowing to develop specific skills.
3. Career Immersion (12th Grade): Seniors participate in more intensive work experiences, such as apprenticeships or capstone projects, to prepare for post-secondary education or entering the workforce.
Throughout the process, students receive guidance from educators and industry professionals to ensure they gain valuable insights and skills that align with their career goals.
