🎄 The Fruita Feed: A Time Of🎄 Change
By: Rilynn Reigles (8th Grade Editor)
Memories; The things that will stick with the first semester staff of the Fruita Feed. Bonds; The ones that bloomed in the news room of Fruita Middle School. Conversations; Spoken with one common passion; making sure FMS is informed and celebrated for the many great parts that make up our community.Â
The first semester at FMS is coming to an end, and that means the staff of the Fruita Feed is also moving on, though, the Fruita Feed is here to stay. With a new staff coming to the Fruita Feed second semester, a shift of perspective is coming. But we can’t forget the amazing things that the First Semester staff has done.Â
We’ve grown, as individuals, as students, as a whole. The Fruita Feed wouldn’t have happened without, of course, the participation of the students, teachers, and the rest of the admin at FMS. But there is one person who made it all possible.Â
She wanted to shout out the amazing things at FMS. She wanted to see the small things celebrated. She wanted teachers, parents, and students to be informed of the talent and heart of our school. Mrs. Morgan (7th grade social studies, and journalism teacher) is the rock and the center of The Fruita Feed. Making sure the students keep on track and the stories are presentable for the community at FMS. Without Mrs. Morgan, The Fruita Feed wouldn’t have happened. She cares deeply about this school, and she wants to make sure that everyone else has a chance to care too.Â
The first semester staff is excited to be able to move on to more things, trusting that The Fruita Feed will be in good hands with the new staff that is coming. Some students will be going to Student council, some to study hall, allowing more time to get their core class work done, and a few will go to different ninth hour classes. The Journalism staff is happy to be students again, but that doesn’t mean we will easily forget what we got from this class. The memories, the bonds, and the conversations we have from making the Newspaper will be forever remembered by the students who care and love The Fruita Feed.Â
We are happy to welcome the new staff, and hope that they succeed in having as many special moments that the first semester staff got to experience.Â
