If you’ve ever said, ”I’m struggling. I want help,“ you are in the right place. The purpose of I Matter is to promote youth emotional and mental health. To begin, you will need to take a survey. Try to be honest as possible: your answers are completely confidential and will help match you with a clinician who can best support you. No matter your responses, you will be eligible for 3 free counseling sessions. Get started below. If you’re 11 or younger, your parent or guardian will have to fill out the survey with you. Parents, if you feel your child is struggling and needs help, you are in the right place to talk to a mental health professional for free. Seeking support for your child is not a sign of failure—it’s a sign of strength. Start by filling out the survey below.
The I Matter program has a statewide public awareness and outreach campaign that includes digital ads on platforms such as TikTok and Snapchat and on-the-ground outreach to schools and youth organizations. Both the awareness campaign and the IMatterColorado.org website were informed by youth feedback. Youth and their parents can visit the I Matter platform to take a confidential online survey about their mental health and schedule sessions with a licensed behavioral health clinician, primarily online over telehealth. All Colorado youth ages 18 or younger—or 21 and younger if receiving special education services—are eligible to receive free services.
State law allows youth ages 12 and up to use the platform independently; youth ages 11 and younger will need their parent or guardian's consent to sign up.

Mental Health Services
At New Horizon, we take a client-centered approach to mental and behavioral health treatment to help patients and their families handle life’s challenges in the way that works best for them. Our staff of therapists, social workers, and community mental health professionals work together to help you get the support you need in order to live a healthier life.
We offer out-patient treatment in a comfortable office setting, intensive in-home treatment for at-risk families, and a variety of other services including, but not limited to, Family Preservation, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Family Treatment Drug Court.
COVID-19 has put a stop to a lot of things this year, but what it hasn’t limited is your ability to access a mental health professional on your terms. We offer both in-person and virtual appointments to meet your comfort level, so you never have to leave your home to get the help you need.
Community Education Services
New Horizon Youth and Family Services began its life skills education to act as another layer in the process of rehabilitation, prevention, and independence. New Horizon offers classes in budgeting and money management, time management and goal setting, employment, and credit building and repair in addition to many more to clients to aid in their success. To increase the chances of success, a Life Skills Coach will work one on one with each client to help them use their new skills to achieve their goals.
If you or a loved one are unsure about where to start, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here for you.
The people of Colorado Springs and communities across the nation are known for their generosity. We have witnessed this with countless stories of food being distributed to those who are in need. But what about someone who’s car has left them stranded? You can’t go to a food bank for that problem. This largely underserved need is why we created the non-profit A & S Stranded Motorist Fund.
Unfortunately, we often run into desperate families or individuals who can’t afford to fix their cars. It is usually their only vehicle, and their only means to get to work, and their only means to support their family.
If you know someone that needs the A & S Stranded Motorist Fund’s help please share their story on our Facebook page, Facebook.com/AdamandSonAuto, email us their story at SMF@AdamAndSon.com, or upload a video now!
Together we can have a significant impact on people’s lives.
SET Family Medical Clinics serve all low income, uninsured and underinsured people, regardless of their ability to pay full price for services. SET has a discounted sliding fee schedule for those with limited financial resources. We do not discriminate based upon an individual’s race, color, gender, national origin, disability, religion, or sexual orientation. We accept Medicaid, Medicare part A & D, and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHP+).
Providing care to those in need. SET Family Medical Clinics (SET) is the "Safety Net" that fills the gaps in the health care system. SET is a nonprofit medical clinic providing care to the uninsured, under-insured, homeless and Medicaid populations in our community. SET has also joined efforts to help educate, navigate and enroll people into the new health insurance exchange. In the rapidly changing health care and health insurance system, safety-net clinics, like SET, play a huge role in the future of health care. The charges to treat uninsured patients in our local emergency rooms are passed on to the community in the form of higher hospitals costs and increased health insurance rates. On average, SET services save the community over $4.5 million by treating uninsured and under-insured patients who would normally seek non-emergency care at the local emergency rooms.
