Hi Dr. Jurek,

The reason I am contacting you is that I was wondering if I could receive a letter of recommendation from you. This last year and a half with you and your class has been an amazing time for me. I already thought I loved space and science when I got into your H Physics class last year, and you made me realize it was my passion. You are one of the few teachers that I have seen show joy and excitement in what they teach and get other people excited about it too. I can say easily through my high school time your class was my favorite. I just wanted to thank you for being someone I can look up to and strive more to be like because you have done more for me than you will ever know. Whatever the answer I just had to express my gratitude to you and am forever grateful for everything you've done for me. It was a pleasure to be your student.
