Wredling Chamber Orchestra   Honors Orchestra

The Wredling Chamber Orchestra is an AUDITIONED ensemble for string players that are involved in the WMS Orchestra program during the school day. The ensemble strives to rehearse and perform music that is of a higher technical / musical level than that of the school day orchestras. Since the group only rehearses twice a week, the Wredling Chamber Orchestra musicians are expected to practice the ensemble music regularly with a private lesson teacher and / or by themselves at home.  The group is mainly comprised of 7th and 8th graders but advanced 6th graders are encouraged to audition.  The group performs at WMS Orchestra Concerts, The WMS Winter Pops Concert, and at area music competitions.  Some fun outings and other activities are planned as well!  Interested and committed string players are encouraged to audition!

• MANDATORY Informational Meeting for ALL Interested Students
  After School on: Thursday, August 20th Until 3:20 Orchestra Room 

You need to be at this meeting if you plan to audition for the group since you sign up for an audition slot during this time

• Auditions will be held: Thursday, August 27th- After School in the Orchestra Room  (If you are also in Cross Country, you can still be in Chamber Orchestra.  However you will have to schedule an audition time for before 9/27 because you have an away meet on that day.  See a director to schedule your audition time.) 

RedHawk Strings 

Open to current Orchestra students, this group meets each Tuesday after school from 2:55-3:55 pm.
NO AUDITION required! Come play some great music and have some fun at the same time.
