An AUDITIONED group, open to treble-voiced singers who will NOT go through a voice change during puberty (born female)
Grades 6,7,8 may audition
Must be enrolled in CHOIR during the school day

*Students may sign up for a time slot on the cork board in the Black Box
*Results will be emailed by Labor Day and rehearsals begin the first Thursday after Labor Day
*Bring paperwork/fees to 1st rehearsal
Students must meet all high-level attendance, work and behavior expectations at all times, or you will be removed from the group
Meets from 7:00-7:45 a.m. on Thursdays (first semester); Thursdays and Fridays (second semester)
Several extra required performance opportunities in addition to regularly scheduled choral concerts, some on the weekends
Extra fees are involved with this Ensemble
A SEMI-AUDITIONED group open to singers who WILL go through a voice change/drop during puberty, even if voice hasn’t dropped yet (born male)
Grades 6,7,8 may participate
Must be enrolled in CHOIR during the school day (some exceptions if student is in Band/Orchestra)
Semi-auditioned means students will be required to learn a bit of a song (assigned by the director) at home prior to the first rehearsal, to be sung together at the first rehearsal. The first week of rehearsal will serve as a “trial”, to see if each student can meet the musical, attendance and behavioral expectations of the group.
*The first "trial" rehearsal will be the first Tuesday after Labor Day
*Students will be notified of final placement in the group immediately after the first "trial rehearsal"
*All paperwork and fees must be turned in by the 2nd rehearsal
