Welcome to the 2018-2019 8th grade school year! I am so pleased to have this opportunity to work with you in the coming school year! Although I am new teacher to district #303 this year, I have been a certified teacher for over 20 years and I love what I do! In my past teaching experience, I have taught in Carol Stream (5th & 6th grades) and most recently Naperville Community Unit School District #203 where I taught both 6th and 8th grades for several years.

Because of my teaching experience and also raising 4 children of my own, I am aware that 8th grade is an important year for my students as they transition from a middle school environment to a high school one. I am excited to help guide my students through content, study skills, and the overall learning process. My goal is to help all my students slowly take more individual responsibility this year to help prepare them for their high school experience. I am thrilled to join such a fantastic community and school!
