Expectations for Students

Active Learning on Team 8-3

Upon entering the classroom students SHOULD:

• Read the agenda board
• Read the learning targets
• Copy the homework into their planner/assignment notebook/ to do list/ take a picture with your cell phone
• Gather/ assemble all materials needed for activity

During class Students SHOULD:

• Students should use the Chromebook for academic purposes. Games should not be played. :-)
• Engage in active listening during full class discussion through attentive note taking and/or body language
• Engage in topic related discussion when necessary
• Ask questions to clarify understanding
• Utilize independent work time to develop the learning targets that were the focus of the class

In addition, Students SHOULD:

• Complete ALL classwork and homework with 100% effort
• Turn in ALL assignments on time
• Study for ALL assessments

If you follow all of these steps, you WILL BE VERY SUCCESSFUL!!! :-)
