Standardized tests can help students understand more about themselves, suggest where they need possible extra assistance, provide an idea of how they compare to others across the nation, and even supply possible career options. Regardless of the examination, to best help the student, each should be taken seriously.
The Juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT exam on 10/22/25. The PSAT/NMSQT exam is a preliminary SAT that also opens the door to consideration for National Merit scholarships. This will be an online exam and students will need to bring their Chromebooks. Juniors will no longer take the Illinois Science Assessment in the Spring.

D303 is conducting a Fall Testing Day on 10/1/25 using assessments from Progress Learning/Horizon Education. These assessments will allow all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors to experience an assessment that is aligned with the PreACT/ACT. These assessments will be administered online so students will need to bring their Chromebooks. See details for each grade level below:
