German Club

The German Club is for students enrolled in German classes that want to partake in fun cultural activities, connect with other learners of German, and go on fun field trips! 

Some events we have are:

• Window painting

• Kaffeeklatsch

• Field trip to Christkindlmarkt in Chicago

• Oktoberfest celebration for the whole school

• Have a buffet with traditional German food

German NHS

The German National Honor Society is an organization dedicated to the recognition of academic success in the German language. Members of GNHS also help to plan and run German Club. 

Membership Requirements

• Be a current student in level 3,4, or AP

• Earned an A average in German for 3 consecutive semesters

Meetings for both German Club and German NHS are held twice a month.
