College Credit
Articulated Credit—Elgin Community College
What is Articulation?
If your child takes a course in D303 that is “articulated” with ECC, they will receive college credit for the course if they attend ECC. This credit will then carry with them on their ECC transcript.
How do you receive your articulated credit?
▪ Enroll at ECC in a degree-seeking program in the fall semester following graduation or later, within 27 months.
▪ The high school student completes the articulated high school course(s) with a final grade average of “B” or better each semester.
▪ The high school graduate is entitled to ECC college credit and advanced placement at ECC and is able to enter the ECC course for which the articulated-credit course is the prerequisite.
