Want a break from the world and have a peaceful afternoon? Do you also want a relaxing way to keep your mind off certain negative thoughts and become more flexible? Then Yoga Club would be the best idea for you. Yoga Club runs after school every Wednesday. Where you take your time to be calm and not extremely energetic and all over the place. Dundee Middle School has a wide range of clubs that you may join. you may join any club (if it fits your grade). The Outdoor Club is one of these clubs; their mission is to promote interest in the great outdoors. This club meets monthly at 8 am to 8:45 am in Mr. Wicker’s room. Over the last few meetings they worked the midnight mile, made smores, had an outdoor bike trip, had an evening hike, and made beef jerky. The next meeting will be on Thursday, January 16, 2025 where they will be talking about the Ice Fishing Trip happening on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Beta Club is a leadership club that has selected students from 7th and 8th grade. So far our projects have been collecting food items for food drives, helping out at the blackout basketball game, wrapping presents for families in need, running the turkey trot, and more!
6th graders! If you would like to be a part of Beta Club next year, stay on top of your grades, be a leader, and make sure you don’t get many tardies and detentions.
Sleepy Hollow Concert

Valiant Voices is a club, a group of boys who sing, go to places to tour, and mainly just have a lot of fun. In Valiant Voices, the group is all grades meeting every week on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday! Bella Voce is a 7th and 8th exclusive grade club.
The concert preparations began before school started, with both clubs going through their music, then went off in two different buses and approached Sleepy Hollow Elementary School, where Bella Voce sang “Masters in this Hall” and the 1960’s hit “Barbara Ann” by the Beach Boys.
Valiant voices kicked off after Bella Voce finished their performance. SONGS At the end of the Sleepy Hollow concert, both chorus’ sang three holiday songs to sponsor “Holiday in the Hollow” where the goal is to pack the pavilion with people to honor the beloved Mr.Bishop who always attempted to have as many people sing in the park. Bella Voce and Valiant voices proceed to Dundee Highlands and Liberty.
On December 9, 2024 Jazz Band had a concert at the Dundee Township Senior Center. The songs that were performed were “Boom Boom” that was played excitingly on the drums by Cavan Lukes that started off the concert. “Blue Monk” was the next song, Lincoln Reed played the drums. “Good Kinds Swing Alot” was next, and Charlotte Murphy played the drums. Lastly, “Groovin Hard”, drums played by Alexander Nelson.
Great job to all of the students that participated in the concert.
