The PSAT 8/9 is designed for eighth and ninth graders. This test is also the first test in the series of SAT Suite of Assessments. The PSAT 8/9 also uses the same specifications as the SAT and the PSAT, so it is useful in establishing a baseline of student academic progress throughout high school. 

The PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, PSAT/NMSQT, and SAT are all scored on the same scale. Your score on the PSAT 8/9 shows what the student would have scored on the other exams. 

To see your scores, log in to your College Board account. If you don't have one, you will need to create one using your legal name, and put Niles Township West High School as your current school. 

PSAT 8 - 8th Graders

This mandatory assessment is free of charge and given to junior high students in the fall of the year prior to high school registration. Results from this test, along with junior high recommendations, will be used for proper 9th grade course placement.
