Big Future - from the College Board website, this feature will allow you to select majors and/or careers by fields. It is very easy to search and offers great additional information including a link to colleges which offer the major, helpful high school courses and other related majors.

College Majors 101 - very comprehensive site - offers explanation of the major, videos related to the major, summer programs, student and professional organizations affiliated with the major, and lists of accredited schools by state and much more. They offer a “get recruited” option, but colleges that use this likely pay for the option to be on the site and all this would mean is that the schools would send you information.

Niche - simple site allows you to either type in a specific major or click on one from a list. Results provide a brief description of the major along with a list of colleges which offer it and the tuition and enrollment of each school.

What Can I Do With This Major - ok, this is the COOLEST site! Simply find the major that interests you on the grid and click on it. The result provide lists of careers in multiple, different fields as well as types of employers and ideas for gaining information and learning about the field.

What Can I Do With a Major In? - by University of North Carolina Wilmington. Very similar to the site above, but results are in a slightly different layout. Contains a lot of information about each major offered by UNC-Wilmington.
