You will meet and network with UPMC healthcare professionals, learn about career paths and education benefits, meet with local colleges and experience hands-on activities. The York Builders Association Workforce NOW Foundation is hosting their Annual Building Trades Career Fair on Wednesday, October 28 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Employers will share information about career opportunities, training programs, and apprenticeships. Hands-on activities, tools of the trades, and equipment will be on displays for the students. If you are interested in attending, please stop by the Career Center to sign up. CYHS will provide transportation.
Are you interested in possibly attending Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology?
The Career Center will be taking students on a campus tour to Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology on Tuesday, October 13th from 9:30am to 11:00am. The areas of focus for this tour will be Computer Integrated Machining, Heating & Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Advanced Welding Fabrication Technology. UPMC - Harrisburg Hospital is hosting six separate interactive presentations on Destination Imaging on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 8:00am - 12:00pm. UPMC is hosting a "All Hands In" Healthcare Exploration Day on Thursday, November 5th from 7:45am to 2:30pm. You will explore up to 10 different healthcare career paths, engage in "real-life" patient scenarios, learn about high school student opportunities, and more! Applications are now open!
