Who and what is PiE?
PiE includes parents, HCS staff/teachers and Hinesburg community members. We are committed volunteers who partner to support the intellectual, social and physical development of all HCS students.
What does PiE do exactly?

Include families, HCS staff/teachers and community members in the decision-making process to develop and lead PiE programs.
Strengthen and build community through events and volunteerism.
Enhance the educational experience of students through grants and other donations.
Supports and recognizes teachers and their contributions to our school
Provide a forum to discuss and share information and initiatives impacting the school and community as a whole.

What are a few examples of PiE programs?
Funds provided directly back to each teacher team to help provide enriching projects, programs, and experiences beyond the set curriculum. One example is providing field trip opportunities at no cost to families.

How can I get involved?
How can I get involved?
Join a volunteer team and lend your time and expertise. There are 10+ teams and many individual volunteer opportunities covering a diverse range of topics and time commitments.
Attend and participate in PiE meetings, activities and community events.
Donate or participate in fundraisers which fuel PiE programs.
Have questions, ideas or want to volunteer, contact PiE Secretary.
