Unarmed Drill

My name is Lieutenant Colonel Ophardt, I am your Battalion Commander for the 2023-2024 school year! I am very excited for this year and I am looking forward to seeing what we can do as a team. This year I would like to grow the program through recruiting within the school and younger schools, as well as growing our special teams numbers(e.g. Drill teams, Color Guards, PT, and Rifle). I will work very hard to make sure that I am a fair leader and allow opportunities for younger cadets to learn to lead so that as they grow into leadership positions, they won't feel as overwhelmed. Within the school, I am in the Chamber Orchestra, I am part of leadership, I am the Unarmed Drill Team and Color Guard 1 commander, and I am on the Armed Drill Team and PT. Outside of school, I am a Girl Scout, I am taking both Hip Hop and Country Swing Dance lessons, and I have a part-time job. I enjoy snowboarding, traveling, Halloween, and spending time with my dogs and family. I welcome the opportunity to get to know you, and I hope you feel comfortable approaching me if you need anything, have questions, or want to grow within the program.
