Color Guard is both competitive and non-competitive. This is a group of 4 cadets who present the colors at assemblies and football games and also compete in Drill meets. Color Guard 1 commander is Cadet Staff Sargent Tahnyon McDonald, and Color Guard 2 commander is Cadet 1st Lieutenant Bergen O'Brien. Specifically, each member has a role, such as carrying a flag or guarding it, and everyone has to move together in a coordinated way. It may look simple, but it takes a lot of practice to get the timing, positioning, and details exactly right. Overall, the Color Guard plays an important part in representing the school and is one of our many competitive teams.
Practices are on Monday mornings at 0630.
