Practice saying letter names, matching letters to pictures that begin with the same letter and putting the letters in order.
When your child is able to recognize most letters and sounds, they can begin to use this knowledge to read and spell CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words. CVC words will be our focus in Trimester 2. If your child is ready for this now, please find some extension activities below.
