Mission Statement
In partnership with the community and CVUSD, the Creekside Wellness Center aims to create a safe space, that is student centered, where students thrive and become the best versions of themself.
Our Wellness Center is new and designed after the highly successful Castro Valley High School Wellness Center. We recognize that while Wellness, Mental Health, Social and Emotional learning have always proved an important component of student success, the NEED for these supports is even more present in our schools today. Returning to in person learning has sparked conversations around social and learning gaps, the presence of anxiety, grief and loss, and the humble acknowledgement that is a community need. District, site staff and community partners are coming together to support and roll out this evidence based wellness center model, in an effort to match student/community needs and uphold our commitment to student success.
Creekside designated a new space this school year. Room 25 is a full classroom, equipped with additional individual and group counseling rooms attached. The Wellness Center is accesible to all students, while also providing measures to ensure confidentiality. We are extremely exciting to partner with and empower our youth in the Wellness Center. Including student voices in the this development is a Creekside priority.
Welcome Wildcats!
