Dear Blue Hills Families,

We hope you and your family are staying healthy and doing as well as possible during these trying times. Like everything, this year is going to be different for BHEF, and we want to share with you what we know.

BHEF Donations for 2020-21 School Year

• Suggested amount is $550 per child

• Any amount given greatly helps our students and school

• Donations are tax deductible; non-profit tax ID is 77-0496116

• Donations can be made online: https://www.paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/1855282

• Many companies will match your donation. Ask your HR Department and submit a request for corporate matching to make your donation go further!

What is BHEF?

BHEF, or Blue Hills Educational Fund, is a non-profit organization that raises money to enhance the educational experience for all students at Blue Hills Elementary School. 100% of your donation to BHEF stays at Blue Hills to benefit your child. Below is a list of things that BHEF would like to support during the 2020-2021 school year.

• BH Tech Support

• BH Art and Music teachers, Librarian, and Instructional Assistants (including live/interactive online sessions for groups or individuals)

• Social emotional program: Second Step

• Professional development to enhance virtual learning, and literacy training for teachers

• Events to help foster a sense of community and connectedness for BH students
