Students will learn that there are a variety of cultures who follow similar concepts but develop art in unique ways. Students will take inspiratoion from these differednt cultures and create their own work of art.

Paper:
Cut paper to have geometric shapes (🔴🟧🔺🔶❌🧡)
Rip paper to have organic shapes (🌿🌴🌲🍂🔥💧🌊)
Vocabulary:
Collage- a piece of art made by sticking various different materials such as photographs, pieces of paper, or fabric on to a backing
Habitat- the natural home or environment of an animal, plant, or other organism.
Space- to a feeling of depth or three dimensions
Foreground- the part of a view that is nearest to the observer
Middle ground- the part of a view that is between two extreme positions (foregorund/background)
Background- the part of a view that is furthest to the observer
