Our final quarter will focus on research in the library.  We will use our online database, World Book Kids, for our projects.  

Please continue to help at home by creating a spot for your child to keep their book whether it is in their back pack, on a special shelf, or perhaps in a basket.  Read together and discuss the characters and plot of the story.  Ask questions!  What was your favorite part of the story?  Did anything make you laugh out loud? All library books will be due May 10th. 

In May, Kindergarten will have a chance to incorporate rhyming and alphabet books and dance through generous support from our Manning/Miller PTO.  The community teaching artist from Salt Creek Ballet, Kelly Stokes, will be working with our kindergarten sharing her Literacy through Dance program.  We look forward to our continued collaboration, fifteen years strong!

STEM at Miller has been full of fun and learning.  Students challenge themselves to solve problems while working together to achieve a common goal.
