Specials are the extra classes that students go to once a day. Whenever students have their specials, the students either go to Art, Music, P.E., Library, or STEM and do activities, projects, and learn new things! As a specials team, our goal is to provide your students with opportunities for self expression, creative thinking, problem solving, and collaboration. We are especially focused on Inquiry Based Learning and getting our students to become critical thinkers. 

Specials teachers report on standards twice a year: once after 2nd quarter, and once after 4th quarter. It is common that students will have "developing foundations" or "working towards" for their standards the first time we report. We want to remind everyone that this is okay! The goal is for students to master skills by the END of the school year. These report cards are to show progress, not a final result.
