Welcome to Miller's School Library!

Our Kindergarten and First grade students choose from the books they want to read and discover the enjoyment and power of reading. Finding the right book at the right time can ignite an emotional spark within children that motivates them to read more, understand more, and read eagerly. When that happens, the world opens. Everything becomes possible. 

Second Quarter in the library is in full swing.  

First Graders are participating in the beloved Literature Through Dance partnership with Salt Creek Ballet.  They will read a variety of Social Emotional connected books focusing on mindfulness, personal space, and resilience.  

Kindergarten will be focusing their library learning towards understanding fiction and nonfiction.  They will be able to recognize the kind of features that belong in a nonfiction book versus a fiction book.
