The Third Quarter will feature lessons on Digital Citizenship for all students!  Kindergarten will learn what it means to have a healthy balance of online and offline activities, pausing for people, and navigating in their online neighborhood.  First graders have the Miller Way down pat in their day to day lives at school, but how can they be safe, responsible, and respectful online?  They will also learn to understand how technology might make them feel, and continue to utilize strategies on visiting a website or app.

In addition,  students will explore the wonderful nominees on this year's Monarch Award: Illinois' K-3 Readers' Choice Award.  This list is curated by AISLE (Association of Illinois School Library Educators) Which is your child's favorite?
