MANNING LIBRARY

Welcome Back!

My name is Mrs. Schultz, and I'm the new librarian at Manning. This is my first year as Manning Librarian, and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of our Manning students and their families.  

During the first quarter, we will explore ways to build community in our library through collaboration (working together towards common goals) and the exploration and expression of new ideas. 

We started the year by reading a classroom text and doing a writing activity.

Our first collaborative project is creating a school-wide paper chain, which will link every Manning student together as a school library community.   Written on each link is a commitment by each student to demonstrate what community building looks like in our library.
