Community Unit School District 200 offers students two options for earning early college credit: Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Credit.
With the average price of a single three-credit college course currently at $1800, college costs can add up very quickly, especially when considering the additional costs of housing, textbooks, transportation, and enrollment fees.
While early college coursework does indeed save students time and money, more importantly these courses prepare students for the challenges and rigors of the college experience. Participation in AP and Dual Credit classes significantly improves students' chances of collegiate success.
