We are not doing it alone, this time!
The team at @pastperfectlive has been engaged with CPA through its different stages in the last edition. It was thus befitting to invite them on board from the inception of the program this year.
Their diverse body of work will introduce the participants with basics and the breath of archiving. Furthermore, the research and archiving carried out by the team at Past Perfect has been creatively interpreted and disseminated in a variety of outputs. It will be critical for the participants of CPA 2024 to visualize and curate their archives for such diverse engagements.
Next up, They bring a diverse regional experience to the table!
The team at @neindiaarchive has been working closely with a wide range of communities from the northeast and has explored a variety of technical exercises when it comes to archiving multimedia formats. They have also been keen on diversifying their knowledge base and engaging with archives from across the borders.
Our first step to making it a truly South Asian initiative!
@citizensarchive is a team of diverse professionals working across different regions and communities to preserve and disseminate citizens' histories. In their pursuit, they have formalized the practice of preservation, collaborated with national and international organisations as well as offered a safe space to their contributors.
Note: We are deeply grateful to Sophia Balgamwala for connecting us for this collaboration.
