Outdoor space will be used as much as possible for instruction.

Afternoon pick-up may occur early for those students who can take naps at home.
PreK payments will be made at the payment window at the front desk.
Students will be able to use their lockers for personal belongings.
Students will use the restroom as a cohort group or by special request.
Students may bring their own water bottles as there will be no access to water fountains.
Students will participate in recess as a cohort group in designated areas of the playground.

When students arrive to school, between the times of 7:45AM and 8:00AM, they will be directed to walk straight to their classrooms.
All students K-5 will have an iPad.

AT HOME Learning Instructional Model is available to all students by making a formal request and meet with Mrs. James. This requires families to have WiFi available during the traditional school day. The AT HOME Learning model will consist of the student using a virtual platform throughout the hours of 8AM and 3PM.
eLearning days (September 3rd, January 17th, and emergency closure days) will also follow this model of instruction between the hours of 10AM and 3PM. Kindergarten through fifth grade students are expected to sign into Google Classroom at 10am daily for direction as it relates to their instructional day, as it looks different for each grade level. Following a 2-Hour delay class schedule.
Parents/Students will be expected to conduct self-screens daily for COVID Symptoms. Temperatures will be taken at the school bus stop. A temperature of 100.3 degrees requires the student to remain at home and be fever free without fever reducing medications for 72 hours before returning to school. If students are being quarantined at home and are well enough to participate, they can participate through the "AT HOME Learning Instructional Model" provided by their teachers. By doing this the student will not be counted absent.
Quarantine based on levels of contact, exposure, and timeline:
Entire classroom Quarantined:
Entire classroom quarantines at home- teacher provides virtual instruction.
Entire classroom quarantines within their classroom. Students will stay in the classroom at all times, even meals. Bus students will be drop off & pick up only by parents/guardian.
Student is Quarantined:
Virtual instruction provided at home
If a student has an IEP, an IDLP will be followed.
Teacher is Quarantined:
PreK- Teacher will supply lesson plans for the PK aide to become Lead Teacher and a substitute will be brought in as a PK aide.
K-5- A substitute will cover the class/ the students may be quarantined depending on level of exposure/contact/ virtual students may be moved to another same grade teacher for instruction.
