Fall programming is in full swing! Rev. Andée has a full Spiritual Development lineup underway, including morning meditation starting September 20, Soul Matters Sharing Circles, and Theology on Tap. Suzanne, our RE Coordinator, also has a full calendar of classes starting in October — check "CUC Events" for the complete schedule. We can't wait to gather with you.

Spiritual Development: 2026–27 Program Is Here!
Rev. Andrée's full Spiritual Development lineup for the new congregational year is ready — multiple ways to explore, connect, and grow together this year, for every kind of seeker.
Soul Matters (Monthly Journal) — Stories, reflections, and exercises exploring each month's theme, for all ages. Distributed with the monthly bulletin — email communications@cucwestwood.org to receive it.
New UU Sessions — A 2-hour intro to Unitarian Universalism and CUC's history and values, for newcomers. Fall session: October 25, 12 pm. Spring session: April 11, 12 pm.
Soul Matters Sharing Circles — Small-group exploration of the monthly theme, using the journal as a guide. Noon after service, third Sunday of each month, starting October 18.
Neighboring Faiths — A four-month series (Jan–Apr 2027) exploring Judaism, Islam, Christianity, and Buddhism, each month including an activity with that tradition's community. Participation in all four months welcome but not required.
Queer & Trans Spiritualities Practice Group — A monthly practice group centering queer, trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive spiritual experience. First session October 22, 7 pm; third Thursday monthly after that.

The Borough of Westwood has launched the first edition of a new digital municipal magazine designed to provide residents with regular updates on the work being done by borough departments, boards, committees, and elected officials.
Planned for publication two to three times per year, the magazine will serve as a centralized source of information on municipal projects, community initiatives, upcoming events, local government activities, and stories of interest.
Please contact Jim Lessersohn (lessersohn@gmail.com) to make reservations for this event by October 10. The sooner we get a headcount, the better the seats will be. Payments will be collected after the block of tickets is purchased.
