The retired women take the dance floor,

Leather-skinned and neon-clothed,

Nothing on their minds but each other,

Still like the girls they were decades ago,

Supple-skinned and still neon-clothed,

Kissing hips keeping away foreign hands,

Holding onto each other’s sweaty, beautiful bodies as they moved together,

Under the flashing lights on a pulsing floor.
