This bag (36x48x4) served to transport and store the HUGS system between data capture sessions with your baby.
We were aiming to make it (relatively) easy for families to get HUGS out of the way while keeping all the components together during the time it is in the home. Families, of course, will decide how to best store components between sessions.
When the HUGS team comes back to pick it up after you gather your baby's last month of data, we will re-secure and re-pack all the HUGS parts in it.
Look in the pouch on the side of the big bag by the handle. You will find:
Scissors to cut the zip ties that made sure the HUGS frame didn't twist (and break) during transport;
A tape measure for measuring your baby's arms at each HUGS session. Details follow.
Sleeveless (summer) onsies for your baby in two sizes: 3 and 6 months.
Use is optional. When your baby's upper extremity landmarks - shoulders, elbows, and wrists -- are most visible, the machine learning algorithm is most accurate.
When you dress your baby for interaction with HUGS, try to avoid bulky clothing with folds and wrinkling, such as pullovers or sweaters.
Lay the bag flat, pouch-side up.
Unzip the bag. It only unzips about halfway down the bag.
Carefully (try not to rip the bag) ease the corners of the peg board that provides support for the HUGS frame ease the peg board out of the bag.
The organization of items inside is as shown above right.
Each of the numbered items is described below.
Center: 3D, Intel RealSense Camera.
2 o'clock: USB-3 Cable. Connects camera to laptop.
4 o'clock: Blue cable. Connects electronics box to laptop.
8 o'clock: Swivel clamp. Holds 3D camera to mounting bar

The toy component of HUGS that registers baby's grasp force.
Triple bubble-wrapped, secured to the laptop box.
The bar toy lights up, plays music, and vibrates when your baby grasps it.
Note the velcro closure shown in the right-hand image of the bar toy.
Covers can be removed and laundered as needed.
The stands (4) are standard photographic equipment. They are transported collapsed and packed in a black carrying bag.
The bar (5) fits on top of the stands and is secured with wing nuts.
The frame Harry is holding is collapsed, as is the one zip tied to the board in the unpacking picture above.
The frame on the floor to the right is set up showing its A-frame configuration.
