To pep up the spirit of the students, the final year students were taken on one day trip to MGM Amusement Park on 02nd March, 2020. 46 students and the staff members Mrs.F.Beulah and Mrs.J.Kauser accompanied the students.

A Seminar on Digital transformation in Banking & Finance was organised for all the three years of students on 20th February, 2020 to help them in updating their knowledge on Banking & Finance.

     To bridge the gap between the classroom and industry the department made an arrangement to take I year UG students on an industrial visit to Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, Kancheepuram on 21st February 2020. The students were able to learn the various processes involved in the production of milk and milk products.  This visit gave the students a practical exposure on how milk is skimmed, tested and packaged. Students were entertained by a video presentation in which all the milk products produced by Hatsun were shown.

Department of Accounting &Finance, organised an Inter-Departmental competition “Acc O’ Fest” on December 11, 2019 aiming to showcase the talents among students. There were many on stage and off stage events. It was thrown open for both UG students and PG students. Many students participated in all the events with great interest and enthusiasm. There were good interactive questions from the judges of the various events and the same were tackled well by the students.

The students were given an opportunity to stay together with their friends in an informal atmosphere. Four days long entertainment trip was arranged for final year students to Mysore from 07.09.2019 to 10.09.2019. 40 students, 1 staff member and 1 assistant went on tour.  Arrangement for the tour was made with the help of Trinity Tourism.

A Career Guidance Orientation Programme was conducted by the Prime Educators for the final year students on 5th September, 2019. This programme aimed at giving guidance to the students regarding the career opportunities available through writing the competitive exams. They also provide coaching for writing the various competitive Examination.
