Valedictory cum Prize distribution session was conducted on March 3rd, 2020.

The Department Day “Taarush- 2020” was organized on February 14 & 21, 2020. Students from all the three years were participated with great enthusiasm. The following competitions were conducted to bring out the latent talents of the students

On 29/01/2020 a Workshop was arranged for all the I years on the topic “Understanding and Analysing Balance Sheets” by Prof.Sridar Natarajan ,Dean of Chennai Business School. It was an activity –based session. The speaker explained about the analysis of balance sheet of different firms, by giving a case study. 

On 06/02/2020 & 07/02/2020 a Workshop was conducted for the III years on the topic “GST (Goods and Service Tax)” by Mr.RakeshShankar.R (Cost Accountant) & Assistant Professor - D.G.Vaishnav College.

 An industrial visit to Sandal Wood factory – Mysore for the III years on September 14th ,2019 and  HATSUN AGRO PRODUCT LTD - Kanchipuram for the I years  on Feb 19th& 20th ,2020 were arranged to make them experience the practical perspective of the work place and to benefit from industry interface. It is one of the most tactical methods of teaching.

•   On 18/7/2019 a Career Guidance session was organized from “Institute of Cost and Management Accounting” by Mr. V. Yuvamorthy ., B.Com., ACA., CMA addressed the students about the importance of ICMA course and career opportunities in the corporate field

• On 06/09/2019   an awareness program for competitive exams was arranged. Mr.Kabilan & Mr.M.Siva from Prime Educators addressed the students on aptitude skills.

• On 30/12/2019 a career development session on Banking, Financial and Insurance services was presented by Mr.Antony Prabu (Tech Mahindra Foundation)

• On 06/12/2019 a Career guidance program on “Interview Skills & Personality Development” was given by Ms. Aishwarya, Trainer,  Rexona Confidence Academy, and they contributed a sum of Rs.5000/- towards Women Welfare.
