On 08/03/2023, the students of BBA Department watched a screening of the movie "Miss India" at the JJK auditorium. It is an inspirational movie for the women students who are attempting to make their way in a patriarchal culture to become successful entrepreneurs. The movie portrays the hardships underwent by Manasa Samyuktha throughout her entrepreneurial journey to establish Indian Chai in the United States. It was a memorable movie-watching experience for all students.
Objectives:
The purpose this movie was to make the students understand the significance of women entrepreneurship.
To empower women students by enhancing their entrepreneurial skills to start their business.
To enable them to understand that barriers that hinder learning have to be overcome.

On 25/01/2023, the III BBA students (Batch 2020-2023) visited Central Palmgur and Palm Products Institute, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai. To learn about the varieties of palm products produced in the industry. The students had the opportunity to experience indigenous palm products.
Objectives:
To observe the how the theories they learn in the classroom are implemented in real-life situations.
To provide an opportunity to the students to interact with the industry experts to gain the knowledge, skill, and experience from industry professionals.

World Rose Day, also known as the Day for the Welfare of Cancer Patients, was celebrated to commemorate the memory of twelve year old cancer victim Melinda Rose who dedicated her last six months of life to bring happiness and hope among cancer patients around her. This year Rose Day was celebrated in Jeevodaya Cancer Hospital . 10 students from the III BBA were accompanied by Mrs.S.Gayathri, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration to the Cancer Hospital. Students took the initiative to sponsor rose milk and cake to the patients. Students delighted the patients with their cultural performance.

Report:
IQAC, CFSD & EDC in Association with Department of Business Administration, CFSD-EDC,IIC, orgainsed an Industrial Visit to Modern Bakers, a unit which manufactures Parle Biscuits. Parle-G was started in 1934 in Mumbai. It has nearly 120 factories. They produce 50 lakhs of biscuits and other products like cakes, etc.. In Chennai Parle-G produces only biscuits. The company works 24 hours. The fast moving products of Parle-G are Milano, Happy happy, jim jam, monaco, krack jack etc.
Every 3 months a health check up of the employees is done. For every 3 months an auditing is also conducted and ranked. For making of biscuits only purified sugar is used. Out of 120 ranks Parle-G has the 6th rank which gives a unique code for each and every company. At the time of production of biscuits approximately 20% of biscuits will be broken. They recycle the broken biscuits into new ones. Taste revolution will be tested at 11.30 a.m. The process involves Baking, moulding and cooling. It was really beneficial for students.

To learn about how to ramp up production rapidly and how it can be a powerful and difficult-to-imitate competitive weapon.

He insisted that the students develop their presentation skills as they have to present their business plan to Venture Capitalists to acquire start-up capital. He clearly explained about the steps involved in acquiring venture capital and different stages of VC funding for start-ups. He also enlightened the students about the techniques to identify Venture Capitalists such as Blog, Twitter, LinkedIn, Emails etc. He also stated that Venture Capital investments are for innovative projects. The Resource Person also explained about the concept of equity participation and capital gains and the significance of building a strong and dependable Team.

The students of II BBA (Batch 2021-2024) watched movie “83” on 21 July, 2022 at T. Thomas Auditorium. The purpose of this movie show is to make the students understand the importance of team coordination and the role of an effective team leader to taste the success on. It brilliantly captures the actual drama, the emotions that the players went through. This movie is based on veteran cricketer Kapil Dev. This film showcases the time when India won the World cup in 1983. Nearly 40 students were watching this movie. It was a memorable movie watching experience for all the students.
